Nonstop Route to Crescent City Launches Today
Oakland, CA: (April 11, 2018) — It’s a week of celebration at Oakland International Airport. CEC Airport Director Matthew Leitner identified the Bay Area as a destination with “great demand,” addressing the connectivity provided by OAK in a statement, noting, “Oakland is a Southwest Airlines focus city, which means that Southwest offers numerous flights from Oakland as an alternative to SFO.”
Bryant L. Francis, Director of Aviation for the Port of Oakland said, “I’m pleased to welcome Contour Airlines to Oakland, and its arrival is part of an important trend. Contour’s selection of Oakland as its first destination out of Crescent City reflects a positive pattern of engagement we are seeing here.
