Horizon Air Resumes Seasonal Nonstop Service to Sun Valley From OAK
OAKLAND, CA - Back by popular demand, Horizon Air today resumes its daily nonstop service between Oakland International Airport (OAK) and Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) in Hailey, Idaho, just 20 minutes from the famous Sun Valley Resort.
This seasonal service operates through April 3, 2005 to the world-class Sun Valley ski resort that offers 4,000 acres with 75 runs and 19 lifts.
"This popular ski destination is served only through the San Francisco Bay Area's most popular airport, Oakland International," said Director of Aviation Steven Grossman. "Skiers who want a change of scenery will find the short flight time of two hours and 10 minutes attractive for a quick getaway."
Flights depart OAK at 7:25 p.m. arriving SUN at 10:20 p.m. Return flights depart SUN at 5:45 p.m. arriving OAK at 6:45 p.m.
Horizon operates 70-seat, Bombardier Q400 high-speed turboprops for the SUN service.
