Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:45 am - 4:45 pm (Pacific Time) and Friday by special arrangement. Closed on Port of Oakland Holidays. Appointments are required.

*Both the Identification Badge Application and Fingerprint Application MUST be completed and signed in order to proceed with fingerprinting (if required).
A signed Identification Badge Application is required for all new and renewal badge applicants.
All applicants for new and renewal badges are required to present two (2) acceptable and unexpired forms of identification with the exact same spelling and placement of names. Please review the Acceptable Documents (OAK I-9) form above for a list of acceptable documents.
Appointments for fingerprinting and computer training fill-up quickly. Please login to the OAK Badging Office schedule as early as possible to ensure you receive or renew your badge by your preferred date (for renewals, up to 30 days prior to your current badge expiring).
