October 18th, 2000

Oakland, CA, October 18, 2000 - Aerzone, "Your Office-on-the-Go," today announced the opening of its two newest Aerzone Business Center (Laptop Lane) locations at Oakland International Airport in Terminal One, next to Gate 10 and in Terminal Two, near Gate 20. Oakland International is the first airport in California to offer Laptop Lane services to its customers.

Laptop Lane provides private, mini-offices near the gates and waiting areas at 14 airports in the United States. Each mini-office contains a Pentium II personal computer with 17" monitor, keyboard and mouse; a laser printer; a network color laser printer; plain paper fax machine; a multi-line phone and laptop PC connections to a T-1 line for internet and E-mail.

There will be five mini-offices at the Gate 10 location. Another four mini-offices will be located in the connector building between Terminal One and Terminal Two, near Gate 20.

"Oakland International Airport, close to Silicon Valley where this technology was created, is pleased to be the first California airport to offer Laptop Lane services to our customers," said Director of Aviation Steve Grossman. "Half of our customers travel frequently on business so providing comfortable airport workstations will be a convenient service to these mobile businesspeople."

Aerzone will initially open the Oakland International Airport business centers under the name of Laptop Lane. Rebranding with the name Aerzone Business Centers for all Aerzone's 21 locations at 14 airports across North America, including the two new locations at Oakland International Airport, is anticipated to be complete by the end of November.
